Day 20. Travel Day from New York to Washington

Today was our last day in NY as we travelled to Washington DC.

We visited Macy's & then dashed across back to Times Square, so I could buy this gorgeous floppy hat from American Eagle which was stupidly expensive but so beautiful and I just had to buy it. No souvenirs for anyone else I guess...

We then walked across to get our Megabus to Washington. I have never been so sticky or sweaty in my life. So gross.

Uncle Bob picked us up outside Union Station and we did a quick driving tour. We hadn't seen Uncle Bob for 8 years. So Alexander was 10 and I was 14 years old.

We got to their MASSIVE house, which is on a complex.

My room.

Connecting bathroom with Alex.

Alex's room.

This would be the Cassie shrine.

Shrine to Andrew Allen. Aunty Audrey kisses this every night....

(That picture is from when our Dad received his MBE from The Queen. I was probably 7, Alexander 4).

Aunty Audrey was at work but had previously prepared a delicious chicken stew which we ate in her honour.

We watched James Brown the movie whilst we waited for Aunty Audrey.

Alexander washed all his clothes as soon as he arrived. He forgot he had nothing left to wear for dinner :') He was a little embarrassed to come down! LOL

She came home at 9pm. We go pro'd seeing her, so will show you Mum & Dad in return.

We are now on the phone to our step grandma Bea. Our parents arrived into Jamaica this evening!

It's 23:24 so we are just going to chill, catch up and get some sleep. We are going to be busy tomorrow. Audrey has the day off work so we have our very own beautiful tour guide!!

Night x
