Today we did Universal Studios Florida.
Well it will be yesterday as its gone 1am here as I write this. We've just had dinner (very late). Rio, Alexander's friend from school has come to stay at our airbnb for 2 nights.
Universal was good. We spotted that there was this casting to take part in a show at multiple times throughout the day. We had no idea what Fear Factor was, but now do.
Alexander got picked for the top 6 for the physical challenge. It was very amusing when they went through the stages.
Alexander in his costume in front of a live audience.
He had this video entry projected onto the big screen, which was highly amusing. I have it on film.
It was then my time to shine. As I was put into one of those head cages and 4 scorpions were put inside onto me. They were clingy.
Then it went back to the second round for Alexander. Where his selected team mate who was swinging across the stage, threw octopuses at him, which Alex had to catch in a bucket. They didn't make it through to the next round.
Alex said it was great fun, although he also said that it was a bit of fun and then backstage it turned into a serious game. Changing rooms were pretty cool apparently.
It was then my turn again, I competed in a food eating challenge. One cup of meat, octopus, soured milk, fish and critters, all blended together. Gross. I beat that man!! All those Win It All Wednesday's have given me great life lessons it seems.
I did it in 3 seconds, fastest ever apparently. Not sure whether I believe them...
Alex got a shower backstage and I did a tacktical chunder, before we moved swiftly onto Diagon Alley at Harry Potter World. (HP is split between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure).
I then had an acting moment!
Such a laugh. I volunteered from behind Alexander and I just past him smiling and got on stage. He didn't realise that the presenter was calling me up from behind him. So funny!!!!
This was our favourite rollercoaster, Rock It.
