Day 11. Denver (Colorado): Rocky Mountain National Park

We spent the day walking round the lakes in RMNP.

We drove to Estes Park, ditched the car and used the shuttle to get from the visitors centre up towards the start of the trails. Alexander really enjoyed the ride...

It was really beautiful!!!! 

Bear Lake

We went off course for a bit and climbed that to get up a rock.

Lunch stop (avocados were involved)

Call to Mum & Dad in the middle of nowhere.

We tried to describe to Mum & Dad as to where we were. This picture shows the exact spot.

We made a wee friend who is a chipmunk. Got a cracking photo on the canon.

TripAdvisor then navigated is to Smokin' Daves for dinner. Where we had the fattest dinner ever!!
