Day 26. Orlando: Kennedy Space Centre (NASA)

It was a very early start this morning, as we had to get an uber to a random hotel.

From this hotel we got a not so random bus to the Kennedy Space Centre, also known as NASA.

After a very shocking bag search (diabolical) we got through the gates and jumped on another not so random bus for a bus tour. The bus tour dropped us off at the visitor complex.

On  the bus tour we went past,

This is where they construct and deconstruct shuttles.

This is the transporter for the Space Office, which moves at 1 mph.

This is where we watched what happened in the control centre, for a particular take off.

Both of us cannot remember what this was. Just found out, it's the Apollo. The real deal. Unknown as to which one.

We then went to the Atlantis Space Shuttle Area.

This is the real Atlantis.

The underneath is made silica tiles.

We did a flight simulation, that was pretty cool. But very quick.

After all of this, we just had time to sneak into an astronaut encounter. Our astronaut was Fred.

He told us about his adventures.

After we got back from our shuttle to the moon, we jumped on the bus to get home.

On return, Alexander went for a gym session & I cooked dinner. We ate at around half 9 which was pretty early for us considering
