We got on the Vegas 24 hour bus, 4 stops in till Alex realised. Jumped off, made a few frantic phone calls to Megabus - of course no help. So headed back to the bus station. One thing we have noticed over time, basically no one who works or lives in the area (anywhere) knows where anything is or how to get there.
We waited as another Megabus was due to arrive in a couple of hours. So we just hung around the station like odd Brits. Luckily, very luckily, the same bus which dropped us off, was doing the next trip. Even though we were told this was not the case. Eventually we got the iPad back!! Very amusingly, the next Megabus customers who were due to board that bus, were like 'God bless' 'Amazing' 'This rarely happens' 'I am so happy for you'. We didn't actually no what to do, except which them a good trip. Very funny indeed.
These are some general pictures from the day & evening.
We dropped our bags off at the hotel, we couldn't check in till 3. So just freshened up and changed from the overnight bus.
Trip Advisor advised us to go to the Wynn Hotel for a buffet. Alex claimed he was very hungry and wanted to rip up an 'all you can eat'. So went out for a buffet. Turns out the Wynn was the 2nd most expensive in Las Vegas but it just looked so good we couldn't resist. We stayed for 2.5 hours - time well spent!
We went to check into our hotel. I booked the room under business class so we got put on the 24th floor!
Then we had a flash flood! So we walked bare footed around! Hasn't rained in 3 weeks apparently.
Warning alerts on our phone every 10mins. Going off on people's phones in the casino at the same time!
